| Sony J Series Compact Players are now in their second generation. They offer a powerful combination of features and capabilities to act as a desktop feeder for non-linear, logging, or playback viewing applications, such as supporting 525/625 dual standard playback, the ability to play Large as well as Small size cassettes, and different outputs depending on the model choice to help fit your limited application. Each unit in the series offers a different playback compatibility, so "choose wisely". The units are designed with RS422A limited control for convenience only, and the units cannot be used for linear synchronized editing. The originally proposed J4 Series for HDCAM and HDCAM-SR (model depending) became the JH Series, but with no standard definition playback functionality. | |
