Sony Plasma Display Resolution Information |
|
| VGA400 is considered 640x400; VGA480 is considered 640x480, SVGA is considered 800x600, XGA is considered 1024x768, SXGA is considered 1280x1024, WXGA is considered 1366x768, UXGA is considered 1600x1200, and WUXGA is considered 1920x1200. Within these native pixel count resolutions, there are a number of supported (and not-supported) Horizontal (expressed in kHz) and Vertical Frequencies (expressed in Hz) which are not shown here which should be considered for compatibility with your graphic input modes. Regarding plasma in general, the maximum input resolution and input type rated for internal conversion for mapping to a plasma panel differs from the actual displayed resolution. To actually display native 800x600 in 4:3 (or from a graphics display card set in 4:3 mode), on a 16:9 panel, the panel must have native mapping resolution of 1024x768 (so the 4:3 square cutout will be in this case 800x600). Consequently, a native 800x600 16:9 panel will display the same 4:3 square cutout in 600x400. |
